It can not be acceptable to have an abortion in any situation, because no matter what the situation or hardship is, the baby never stops being a human being. When she was pregnant she decided that the baby would not remain the rapist’s baby but HER baby.See the difference? Some of the wrongs can be mended by taking that mentality. So we should punish the raped for bearing the child of a rapist? Maybe you should provide healthcare to the poor single mothers that are stuck with children when you make abortion illegal, but you won’t. You conservatives are so hypocritical.
Surely in the cases of rape and incest exceptions to religious viewpoints can be made. What religious person would have a mother look at her child every day and remember the terrible circumstances in which it was conceived. Abortion may be all kinds of moral wrong but surely there is a whole other side of the argument here.
